At the heart of our micro school is the belief that every child is a unique learner, and we are privileged to have two exceptional educators guiding them on this transformative journey. Allow us to introduce Andrea Ivey, our Lead Elementary Coach, and Shar Marshall, our dedicated Academic & Language Coach. Both Andrea and Shar bring an incredible wealth of experience and unwavering dedication to nurturing young minds. Their profound love for working with children and fostering a passion for learning has been the driving force behind the creation of Fliped Academy.
Andrea’s journey into education was deeply rooted in her background as a gymnast, where she discovered her innate connection with children. Her belief in the power of out-of-the-box teaching methods, emphasizing hands-on and project-based learning, has led her to create an environment that nurtures practical life skills, breaking the barriers of physical locations and conventional classroom setups.
Shar, our Academic & Language Coach, carries an inspiring legacy in education spanning over a decade. Her commitment to transformative learning experiences and empowering students to embrace new languages and cultures shines through her every interaction. With Shar’s guidance, our students develop the confidence to embark on a journey of discovery and become citizens of the world.
The core philosophy of Fliped Academy is rooted in personalized learning, where each child’s unique needs, interests, and motivations take center stage. Our curriculum allows children to progress at their own pace, be it below, at, or above grade level, fostering a love for learning that knows no bounds.
